At ROMAP GROUP S.A.S. we recognize that our activities in industrial safety, environmental services, energy, machinery, technology and supplies have impacts on the environment and public health. Therefore, under principles of continuous improvement, we commit to:
- Comply with current environmental, health and technical regulations in Colombia, and obtain the permits and registrations each activity requires.
- Use registered and authorized chemicals for pest control, disinfection and cleaning, applied by trained staff, in the right doses and with measures that protect people, animals and ecosystems.
- Manage waste responsibly, including solid and hazardous waste and chemical containers, as well as sludge from grease traps, septic tanks and water tanks, through separation, transport and final disposal with authorized handlers.
- Use water and energy efficiently in all our services, especially in tank cleaning, cleaning and maintenance.
- Keep machinery, vehicles and equipment in good condition to reduce emissions, noise, oil and fuel spills, and soil impacts during construction and earthworks.
- Promote renewable energy and energy efficiency through solar solutions and LED lighting for our clients and our own operations.
- Encourage post-consumer management of batteries, electronic equipment, light fixtures and panels at the end of their useful life.
- Prefer suppliers and products with environmental criteria, such as biodegradable products and recyclable packaging, whenever possible.
- Train and raise awareness among our employees, contractors and clients about caring for the environment.
- Prevent pollution and continuously improve our environmental performance, periodically reviewing our practices and results.
